Our solution

The Blue Box played a critical role in transforming Globespinning’s vision into a fully functional iOS app. We implemented the following key solutions:
 

Automatic Itinerary Generation: Developed a geolocation system powered by machine learning to automatically detect and organize travel destinations from users’ photos. This enhanced the accuracy through metadata analysis and location recognition.
 

Interactive Map Integration: Built an intuitive mapping interface using MapKit to visually connect destinations. This enabled users to see their trip itineraries and explore others’ itineraries interactively.
 

Social and Community Features: Integrated sharing capabilities with Facebook, Twitter, email, and text messaging. These implemented commenting and rating features to encourage interaction among travelers.
 

Trip Planning and Booking: Facilitated restaurant reservations directly within the app. We've planned for future expansion to hotel and activity bookings.
